A reaction session can contain a recording you want to remove and several you want to keep. Fesi offers actions at different levels, so the scope of a deletion matters as much as the name on the button.
Decide whether you mean one video, selected videos or the whole session before confirming. A session is the collection; a video is one recording inside it.
Open the particular recording to remove one moment
Start in the Library, open the intended session and play the video you are considering. Confirm its identity from playback and its name rather than relying only on a thumbnail. Similar expressions from the same room can be easy to confuse.
Use the recording’s delete action when the goal is removing that individual video. Read the confirmation and cancel if it refers to a larger selection than you intended.
Review a selection before a bulk action
When working with several reactions, check which items are selected before using Delete. A selection tool can include more clips than the one you last opened, especially if you used Select All.
If some of the selected recordings should remain, remove them from the selection first. Do not use a bulk operation just to save a few taps when you have not checked the affected videos.
Delete Session covers its recordings
Fesi’s session options include Delete Session, with confirmation for removing the entire collection. This workflow removes the session’s clips, rather than simply hiding a session heading while keeping every video elsewhere in the Library.
Use it only when the whole session is unwanted or when you have verified the independent copies you intend to retain. Cancel and use individual-video controls if even one recording should remain in that session.
Favorites are not a universal deletion lock
Fesi’s age-based and non-favorite cleanup operations protect favorites. An explicit whole-session deletion is a different operation: its scope includes the session’s recordings rather than automatically excluding every favorite.
A star marks personal importance and provides protection in specified cleanup workflows. It does not replace checking an explicit delete confirmation. The retention guide explains the age-based setting separately.
Check independent copies separately
A recording saved or shared to another destination is a separate copy. Deleting the local reaction from Fesi does not establish that an exported copy in another app was removed too. Conversely, seeing a file in another app does not prove it is the complete copy you wanted to retain.
Before relying on an export, play it in that destination and check sound and duration. If you need the collection’s original recordings and session context, verify a portable archive before deleting the working Library.
Choose cleanup when cleanup is the actual goal
If you only want to remove working files left after sharing, review temporary-export cleanup rather than deleting reactions. If you want to remove one unwanted moment, use that video’s action. If every recording in a session is unwanted, review the session-level confirmation.
The storage cleanup guide explains those file types. Clear names can also help you verify what you are removing; see renaming videos versus sessions before a larger Library review.
