If Fesi ends a free Reaction Mode session after five reactions, check the completion message before treating it as a camera failure. The free plan allows up to five reactions per session. Reaching that limit is different from a failed save, an app interruption or a storage warning.
This guide covers automatic Reaction Mode sessions. It does not describe a duration limit for uploaded background videos or a five-second limit on each recording.
Five reactions means a count within the session
The limit counts reaction recordings in that session. It is not a timer that ends every clip after five seconds, and it is not the same setting as Silence Delay. A session may contain clips of different lengths because activity and capture timing vary.
Fesi’s Home screen labels the free allowance as “up to 5 reactions per session.” When the limit is reached, the session stops rather than promising continued automatic capture. Do not assume the camera is still collecting later moments after that completion screen appears.
Review the saved session first
The limit is designed to preserve the reactions already captured. On iOS, the session manager checks the free allowance after successfully storing a clip. Android’s limit message says that the five free reactions were saved and ends the automatic session through its normal completion path.
Open the Library and play the recordings you want to keep. Check the start, ending and audio before sharing. If a specific video is missing or will not play, that deserves its own investigation; a plan-limit message is not proof that every file is healthy on every device.
Distinguish other reasons capture ends
An app switch, a screen lock, a camera interruption or insufficient storage can interrupt recording independently of your plan. Read the actual message and note what you were doing when capture stopped.
The interruption guide explains why keeping capture active matters. Android users seeing storage warnings can use the storage headroom guide. Changing sensitivity does not increase the free session allowance.
Check recognized access if you already subscribe
The session allowance depends on the access Fesi currently recognizes. If you expected unlimited reactions, review the app’s subscription status and purchase-restoration controls before another important session. Keep your existing videos while checking access.
Use the current purchase screen for the available plan and terms. This guide does not promise a price, a trial or that an unfinished purchase has activated. If access still looks wrong, include the platform, app version and exact completion message in a support report. Do not send payment credentials.
Prepare before the next event
Run a short test and confirm how capture ends on your installed version. For a longer event, decide in advance whether the free session allowance fits your needs. Avoid discovering a stopped session only after the moment you wanted has passed.
You can keep, rename and review the saved clips without confusing the count with clip quality. See video and session naming for organizing that review, or reporting a recording problem when the behavior differs from the message.
