Ruth Technologies, LLC ("we", "us", or "our") built Fesi with a fundamental commitment to user privacy. Fesi is designed to be private by design: all reaction analysis, audio processing, and video storage occur exclusively on your local device.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Fesi does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Specifically:

No Account Required: You do not need to register, log in, or provide an email or phone number to use Fesi.
No Video or Audio Transmission: Your camera feed, microphone input, and recorded reaction clips are processed in real-time in local memory and saved only to your local device storage. They are never uploaded to any remote server or cloud service.
No Tracking or Analytics: Fesi does not integrate third-party tracking SDKs, advertising frameworks, or cross-app tracking mechanisms.

2. On-Device Processing & Device Permissions

To provide its core functionality, Fesi requests permission to access certain device hardware:

Camera: Used in real-time to detect facial expressions, head movement, and body gestures indicating a genuine reaction. Frames are evaluated in local volatile memory and discarded unless a reaction is triggered.
Microphone: Used in real-time to detect audio spikes (laughter, cheering, gasping). Raw audio is analyzed locally on hardware and discarded unless a reaction occurs.
Photo Library: Requested only when you choose to export your saved reaction clips to your device camera roll.
Face ID / Biometrics: Used solely on-device to lock and unlock your private reaction vault. We never have access to biometric data.

3. In-App Subscriptions & Purchases

Purchases of Fesi Pro subscriptions are processed directly through Apple StoreKit on iOS or Google Play Billing on Android. Payment transactions and billing information are managed entirely by Apple Inc. or Google LLC subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We do not receive or store your payment card numbers.

4. Children's Privacy

Fesi does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13. All features operate locally on the physical device.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we update this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
