Two clips can look similar to a detector and mean very different things to the person watching. A cheer might be a reaction you want to keep, while a conversation at the same volume might not be. Fesi lets you review a reaction and choose a detection-feedback label that describes what happened.

The labels are Good capture, Not a reaction and Started too late. They help distinguish the quality of the capture decision from whether a video is ready to share.

Good capture: the moment was caught usefully

Use Good capture when the recording includes the reaction you wanted and starts at a useful point. Watch the beginning as well as the most expressive frame. A clip can contain a strong reaction but still miss the anticipation that makes it understandable.

This label is feedback about capture. It is not an automatic public rating, a favorite mark or a guarantee that the clip is ready for your audience.

Not a reaction: the capture was unwanted

Choose Not a reaction when the recorded event was not a reaction you intended Fesi to capture. For example, ordinary movement or conversation might produce an unwanted clip in your setup.

Do not use the label merely because you dislike your expression or decide against posting. A real reaction can be captured correctly and still be something you prefer to keep private.

Started too late: the beginning matters

Use Started too late when a reaction was captured but the useful beginning is missing. You might hear the end of a laugh without seeing the initial surprise, or see yourself already standing rather than the moment you got up.

Feedback cannot add frames to a recording that has already finished. Fesi’s short rolling buffer is limited, and the available buildup depends on readiness, configuration and device constraints.

Where the feedback goes

Open a recorded reaction from the Library and look for the detection-feedback controls in its detail view. In the iPhone interface, this area is labeled “How was this detection?” Layout and wording can differ by platform or version.

The selected label is stored locally with the reaction’s identifier. Fesi can use local feedback in its capture adaptation; that is not a promise that one label will immediately fix detection in every room. The feedback label itself does not upload your video or create a public review.

Feedback is also separate from actions such as deleting, favoriting, editing or sharing the recording. Choose those actions deliberately rather than expecting a feedback label to perform them.

Combine feedback with a setup check

If the same problem keeps happening, look for a practical cause. Check face visibility, room lighting, camera stability, readiness and the relationship between your voice and nearby sound. A label cannot compensate for a covered lens or missing microphone input.

Change one part of the setup at a time and make a short test recording. That makes it easier to understand whether the next result differs because of framing, lighting or noise.

Review first, then choose

  1. Play the complete reaction clip with audio.
  2. Ask whether it was a reaction worth capturing.
  3. Check whether the useful beginning is included.
  4. Select the label that best describes the capture.
  5. Separately decide whether to keep, favorite, edit or share it.

If a moment has just happened during an active session, our Save Recent Moment guide explains the manual option. For longer-term organization, see Favorites and search in the Library.
